Week 47

It was a pretty cool week! Wrapped things up with submitting my DCP to Culver City Film Festival and Central Florida Film festival. Been working on trying to use CineSignal as my daily driver for all things filmmaking related and to really 'dogfood' myself with my own product. I've been seeing a lot of competitors out there so far, but most of them are basically a mailing list sign up with a bunch of promises for things that haven't materialized. Or they're just one of the features we offer at double, triple or more the price. I'm happy to be building this site, and hopefully the community will come along and use it and find it useful!

Creative Endeavors

In my creative endeavors, I'm now using the ideaboards feature as well as my very own screenplay writer to generate my first draft of a cool 'midnight madness' concept I'm calling 'death sentence'. Beyond that I'm also trying to notecard out my feature I've been working on for basically forever. I'll be 'creating in the open' here to try and give folks an idea of what it's like to build with CineSignal, and use it as a companion tool.

This week, I'm at home for Thanksgiving! Hello from Mount Dora, Florida.
