noir
by Matt Moeller
"When college student Leila Heilos discovers she’s a half‑vampire and uncovers a CIA conspiracy draining purebloods for power, she must embrace her smoky alter‑ego Noir to rescue her imprisoned grandmother and stop a blood‑lusting resurrection—or become the monster she’s hunting."
When college student Leila Heilos’s life shatters into smoke and blood, she reawakens as Noir — a fierce, half-vampire vigilante haunted by a buried family secret and the ghost of her grandmother, Hathor. Torn between a craving for vengeance and the desperate hope for family, Leila must navigate a city where the CIA traffics in captive vampires, a charming but duplicitous agent named Alec Goffin plays both rescuer and betrayer, and loyal tech-geek Chad races to keep her one step ahead. Noir is a pulpy, action-driven supernatural noir that blends gritty rooftop chases, shadowy conspiracies, and ancient Egyptian myth into a dark, emotional struggle over what it means to fight monsters without becoming one.

Matt Moeller
(John Matthew Moeller)JUST A BIG OL' NERD
Matt Moeller has aspired to be a writer, director, and funnyman since living in Orlando, Florida in 2004 which is basically the cretaceous period at this point. He’s written a book about improv comedy, hosted a live show where he got romantically dumped on stage 20 times in one night, made a ton of little fun videos for channel101 and YouTube, and now he’s full port into writing and directing horror shorts. This is the first you’ve heard of him and you’re unimpressed, but somewhat tickled at his self deprecation and meta humor. Wait, he’s standing right behind you right now, isn’t he?
